GCI SchoolAccess Announces New Mexico Expansion
Rural Schools Benefit from Expanded Access to Educational Opportunities

ANCHORAGE, AK (September 17, 2007) - GCI SchoolAccess, the education division of GCI (NASDAQ: GNCMA), today announced its expansion into New Mexico by providing SchoolAccess Distance Learning Services (DLS) to classrooms across the state. Designed to be E-Rate eligible, DLS is a complete videoconferencing solution, providing a comprehensive suite of technology tools that enable educators to deliver instruction cost-effectively and in real time, regardless of distance.

Since 2001, SchoolAccess has provided its technical and educational expertise to 22 rural schools in New Mexico, Arizona and Montana, serving thousands of students. In addition to rural school districts, SchoolAccess currently services several regional education consortiums in New Mexico, which help rural school districts by providing administrative support, technical assistance, technology, quality staffing, and professional development opportunities.
